Curse of the Giambino.net

The Curse of the Giambino was establish in 2002, the year Jason Giambi left the Oakland A's and went to New York.  Since then, New York has not won a World Series and the curse of the bambino was put to rest by the Giambino as was clearly demonstrated by Boston's 2004 World Series campaign. Down 3 games to none, bottom of the 9th...come on what else can it be.

Although some may say that New York did not win the World Series just prior to Giambi joining the team, it was just the curse letting itself known ahead of time - the pre-curse.

Baseball is full of superstitions.  Superstitions create the mystique that other sports cannot attain or achieve. This curse is just the latest that may turn out to be true.  Just in case, lets try to see how real the curse can be made and see how long it can last.

The 7th anniversary has passed and NY did not even make the playoffs.  Let's hope for a similar result to celebrate the 8th anniversary.  It is never too early to start.

Let's hope that NY resigns Giambi.

One word can only describe it....AWESOME! Follow the link

Go A's and Go Boston!

Our condolences to the Kennedy family.  Joe was a great player as an A.  He will be missed.
